耐火材料在鋁工業的使用

     在國際有色金屬出產中,鋁的年產量一直居首位,遠遠超越其它有色金屬。鋁工業每年耗費的耐火材料量比銅、鉛、鋅冶煉耗費的耐火材料總量還多得多。根據煉鋁工業的工藝過程我公司對其所用耐火材料分為兩大類,分別是電解鋁用耐火材料、鋁熔煉爐用耐火材料。

 

     現代電解鋁工業出產選用冰晶石-氧化鋁融鹽電解法。熔融冰晶石是溶劑,氧化鋁作為溶質,以碳素體作為陽極,鋁液作為陰極,通入強壯的直流電后,在900-1000下,在電解槽內的兩極上進行電化學反響,使電解質與鋁保持熔融狀況,隔一段時間從槽內放出鋁液,并向槽內加入一些氧化鋁與冰晶石。因為電解過程中參加的冰晶石等電解質不能充沛電解,過剩的部分以及熔體上方的氣相會對耐火材料形成嚴峻侵蝕。

 

     鋁熔煉爐是根據鋁熔煉工藝而開發的一種新式高效節能熔鋁爐,它能很好地滿意鋁熔煉工藝中,合金成份要求嚴,出產不接連,單爐容量較大等要求,達到了降低耗費,減小燒損,進步產品質量,降低勞動強度,改善勞動條件和進步出產功率之功效。

 

     在其作業過程中,因為鋁熔液在750時的粘度與20時水的粘度相當挨近,使其極易向爐襯內部浸透和發生化學反響;在鋁液同耐火材料相觸摸時,耐火材料中的SiO2、TiO2、FeO等氧化物簡單被鋁還原,使爐襯表面結瘤、鼓包和沉積雜物;爐子運行過程中,爐內金屬液不停地翻騰和攪拌,對爐襯不斷地沖刷和磨損,受鋁液浸漬部分有呈現浸透、裂紋的危險,停爐時還會引起脫落。所以,同鋁液觸摸的爐襯資料,有必要具有很高的熱穩定性和盡可能少的浸漬量,同時還要求具有很高的機械強度和硬度。
